Guy James

Guy has been in Witney Town Band as an Eb Bass (and occasional Euphonium) player since 2012, and also as assistant MD since 2016. 

​

He has been MD of Yarnton Band since 1997, which he does alongside Witney, and prior to that was with the City of Oxford Silver Band, playing baritone and euphonium, between 1977-1997. He also leads a choir in Witney.

Guy was appointed MD of the band in June 2022, and is very much looking forward to continuing the progression of the band in the future "with a talented and enthusiastic group of players."
